Jon Arrington, 52, of Bellevue, died Monday, March 7, 2011 in Bellevue.

A Funeral Service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, March 12 in St. John Lutheran Church, Bellevue. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery. Visitation for Jon will be held from 11:00 – 1:30 p.m. Saturday morning also at the church. Arrangements are being handled by Hachmann Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Bellevue.

Jon was born March 31, 1958, in Wichita , Kansas, the son of Jim and Meta (Knake) Arrington. He was enlisted in the United States Army and served two tours overseas. Jon worked for Green Valley Ag in Maquoketa as a parts manager.

He enjoyed NASCAR and spending time with friends. He was excited on the recent news of becoming a soon to be grandpa. He will be deeply missed by all.

Those left to honor his memory include his mother, Meta, of Bellevue; son, Michael Jon, of Jacksonville, Florida; three brothers, Kevin (Sally Michels), of Bellevue, Mark, of Crosby, Texas, and David, of Vallejo, California.
He was preceded in death by his father.
