BELLEVUE, Iowa - Agnes (Muchow) Wohlers, 100, of Bellevue, died Monday afternoon, Sept. 29, 1997, at Mill Valley Care Center, Bellevue.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. John's Lutheran Church, St. Donatus, with the Rev. Michael Zamzow officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 3:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Kingery Funeral Home, Bellevue, and after 10 a.m. Friday at the church.

She was born June 21, 1897, in Galena, Ill., daughter of August and Catherina (Seeger) Muchow. She married John Wohlers on Jan. 30, 1917, in Galena; he died Feb. 1, 1960.

She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church and its quilters group. She also was a member of the ALCW. She enjoyed gardening.

Surviving are a son, Eldon, of Bellevue; two daughters, Mrs. Wayne (Verna) Budde, of Bellevue, and Mrs. Tom (Marion) Beadle, of Galena; and seven grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren.
