Maquoketa, Iowa – Walter A. Buck, 95 of Maquoketa, died Wednesday, December 9, 1998 at Jackson County Public Hospital, Maquoketa. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Carson & Son Funeral Home, Maquoketa. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, Maquoketa, Iowa. Visitation is 2-6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mr. Buck farmed west of Maquoketa and raised registered polled Hereford cattle. He was born February 23, 1903, in Jackson County. He married Grace Yarolem in 1928 in Monmouth, Iowa. Memorials may be made to the Walter A. Buck Memorial Fund.
