WM. LEONARD DEAD

Old Resident of Garryowen Passed Away at Mercy Hospital Monday.

Wm. Leonard of Garry Owen, died at noon Monday at the Mercy hospital after an illness of six weeks' duration. Deceased was a native of Roscommon county, Ireland, and was 68 years old. When a boy 15 years old he came to America, settling at Garry Owen. Three months ago his wife died and the shock hastened his deatb, the immediate cause of which was paralysis.

Mr. Leonard was a Catholic and a faithful member of St. Patrick's church of Garry Owen. He was a man of fine parts and was universally respected. He is survived by three sons, Ed. and William of Garry Owen, and Dr. J. J. of this city; also by one daughter, Miss Anna of Garry Owen. The body was removed to the homestead tonight and the funeral held Wednesday morning from St. Patrick's church.
