Funeral Tuesday, Mrs. John Doud, Garryowen Church

Zwingle, Oct. 31 — Mrs. John (Hannah) Doud, 68 died Friday
following an extended illness.

Funeral services were held Tuesday at 9.00 a.m., in St. Aloysius church at South Garryowen. The Rev. C. A. Neuses, pastor, celebrated the Mass of Requiem and interment was made in the North Garryowen cemetery. Carson's Funeral Home at Maquoketa was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Doud was born June 13, 1883, in South Garryowen, the daughter of the late Michael and Margaret Barrett Reddin. In September 1906, she was married in Dubuque to John Doud, who survives.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Margaret Burkey, of Zwingle; two brother, Joe Reddin, of Grand Rapids, Wisc., and Tom Reddin, of Davenport; and two grandchildren. Seven brothers and three sisters, besides her parents, preceded her in death.
