VINCENT DONOVAN

BERNARD, la. — Vincent Donovan, 78, of Bernard, died at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 23, at Jackson County Public Hospital, Maquoketa, la.

Friends called after 7 p.m. Thursday at Siegert's Funeral Home, Seventh and Bluff, in Dubuque. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Patrick's Church, Garryowen, la. The Rev. James K. Cassidy, pastor, offered the Requiem High Mass. Burial was in St. Patrick's Cemetery.

Mr. Donovan was born at Bernard, son of the late Cornelius and Ellen (Hicksen) Donovan; and lived in Bernard all his life.

Surviving are three brothers, Clem and Ignatius, both of Bernard, and Patrick of Dubuque.

The parish Rosary was recited at 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
