Dies At Mercy Hospital

The funeral of Daniel Cox who died yesterday noon at Mercy Hospital after a lingering illness, will be held Thursday morning from the home of his brother, Thomas Cox, 2900 Jackson Street, to Garryowen. The remains will be buried in the cemetery there.

He was born in Bernard sixty-four years ago and has resided with his sister, Mrs. Dennis W. Linehan, in this city since a small lad. He was educated at the local school and later studied at the State University of Iowa. After his graduation there he became associated with firm of Hansen and Linehan. Mr. Cox is survived by two brothers, Christopher and Thomas, one sister, Mrs. John Linehan, and several nieces and nephews.
