Infant Noonan

Funeral services were held Saturday at Garryowen for Richard Philip Noonan, 10 months old son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Noonan, Davenport, former residents of Bernard. The infant died at Mercy hospital in Davenport Friday morning from a skull fracture suffered in a fall a week earlier.

The funeral was held from the home of his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Noonan, Garryowen, to St. Patrick’s church, North Garryowen, Saturday morning at nine o’clock. Burial was in the adjoining cemetery.

Active pallbearers were Gerald and John Noonan and Bill and Jim Shanahan. Honorary pallbearers were Jackie Shanahan, Robert Boleyn, Robert Kueter and Allan Grace.

Surviving with his parents are his brother, William; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Noonan and Mr. and Mrs. Will Shanahan, Bernard; and several aunts and uncles.
