James Reddin

James Reddin, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Reddin, was born October 9, 1858 at Garryowen and passed away Monday, June 14, at 5:00 o'clock.

On November 15, 1893, Mr. Reddin was united in marriage with Miss Bridget Boyle at Garryowen by The Rev. Fr. James Kelly. They farmed in that vicinity until four years ago when they retired and moved to Cascade.

Funeral services were held Wednesday morning from the Orland Devaney home to St. Patrick's Church at North Garryowen with The Rev. Fr. P. F. Malone, pastor, celebrating the Requiem Mass. Burial was in St. Patrick's cemetery.

Surviving are his widow, three daughters—Mrs. Orland Devaney, Mrs. John McQuillen, Cascade, Mrs. William Kinsella, Bernard, five brothers — Michael, Patrick and John of Bernard; Joe of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, and Thomas of Davenport, two sisters —Harriet and Mrs. Hannah Doud, both of Bernard.

Preceding him in death were his parents, three brothers and two sisters.

Pallbearers were Albert Stickley, Mike D. Nooan, John Otting, Joe Noonan, Nick Rollinger, Dan Crowley, Mike Kinsella, Henry Mahoney.
