MAQUOKETA, la.—Christopher Donovan, 71, a retired farmer died at his home Monday.

Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at the Sacred Heart church, with burial in St. Patrick's Cemetery in North-Garryowen.

The parish Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Haylock-O'Hara Funeral Home, where friends called after 7 p.m. Tuesday.

Surviving are his wife, Elizabeth; one daughter, Mrs. Doris Manders, Rewey, Wisc.; two sons, J. C. and Arnold, both of Bernard, Ia. one sister, Mrs. Janie Meehen, Bernard; four brothers, Vincent, Clem and Ignatius, all of Bernard, and Patrick, Dubuque, and 13 grandchildren.
