Death Calls Infant Son

Another bright and happy home was saddened on Saturday morning, July 22, when the little son of Mr. and Mrs. Earl McLees, of Bernard passed to the Great Beyond, where no earthly cares and troubles are known and is waiting now on the other shore to welcome those still on earth.

A brief illness of a few days of cholera infantum caused his death. Everything was done to relieve the little sufferer. Little John Howard was born October 31, 1921 and died July 22, 1922. Besides his parents he is survived by his sister Mary Catherine.

The funeral was held Sunday at 2 o'clock p. m., from the residence, to St. Patrick's church, Garryowen. Rev. Father Breitbach, of Dubuque, conducted the services at the church and graveside.

The pallbearers were Donald and Paul Noonan, Roland Green and Willie Leonard.
