MAYME HENNEBERRY

Mayme Henneberry, 83, Cascade, died Wednesday morning at 5:15 at Mercy Medical Center, Dubuque, after a short illness.

Friends of Mayme Henneberry called at the Devaney Funeral Home in Cascade from where the funeral services were held in St. Martin's, church Saturday at 10:30 a.m.

Rev. John Paisley, assistant pastor of St. Martin's, offered the High Mass of Requiem and delivered the sermon and officiated at the burial services at St. Patrick's cemetery, Garryowen, assisted by Rev. Wm. Arquitt.

Casketbearers were John, Melvin and Richard Henneberry, Bob Houlihan, Virgil Davis and Virgil Stanmeyer, all nephews.

Mayme Henneberry was born at Garryowen January 23, 1886, the daughter of John and Cathrine (Hannifan) Henneberry. She received her education in the rural schools and also attended the Visitation Academy in Dubuque. She taught school in the rural schools of Jones, Jackson and Dubuque counties for many years.

She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Albert Stickley, one brother, Vincent Henneberry, both of Cascade and several nieces and nephews.
