FARLEY, Iowa - Orland J. Uhlrich, 90, of Farley, formerly of Epworth and Garryowen, died Friday, Aug. 8, 2014, at Oak Crest manor, Dyersville.

Services for Orland will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 12, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Farley, with the Rev. Michael Schueller officiating. Burial will be held in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Garryowen. Friends and relatives of Orland may call from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, at Reiff Funeral Home, Farley.

He was born April 7, 1924, in Dubuque, son of Joseph and Ellen (Tierney) Uhlrich. He received his education in the rural country schools.

He farmed in the rural Epworth and Garryowen areas.

He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Farley.

He is survived by a sister, Eileen Kennicker, of Farley; and five nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
