LAWRENCE--Charles Wood Hoag, 82, Lawrence, died Sept. 10, at a hospital here.

Mr. Hoag was a retired furniture salesman.

He was born Oct. 18, 1901, at Rock Island, Ill., the son of Harry and Bessie Atkinson Hoag. He lived in Lawrence since November 1982.

He was a life member of a Masonic Lodge at Dubuque, Iowa, and was past deacon of First Presbyterian Church at Davenport, Iowa.

His wife died in April 1945.

Survivors include a son, Charles Hoag, Lawrence; two daughters, Mrs. Isabel Pentony and Mrs. Dorothy Humiston; a brother, George M. Kelly; and eight grandchildren.
