MRS. BERTHA LAHMEYER

Bellevue, Ia - Services for Mrs. Bertha (Grieme) Lahmeyer, 84, will be at 1:30 p. m. Thursday from the Dye funeral home and at 2 p m at St. John's Lutheran Church The Rev A H. Jahr, pastor, will officiate and burial will be in the Lutheran cemetery. Mrs. Lahmeyer died Tuesday morning.

The former Bertha Grieme was born Sept. 8, 1876, in Germany, the daughter of Henry and Elisa Ahlers Grieme. She came to Jackson county in 1885 and settled on a farm at Andrew. She was married Jan. 6, 1887, to Dietrick Lahmeyer, and they moved to Belleview In 1915

Survivors include one brother, Adolf of Eagle Grove, four sisters, Mrs. Pauline Meyer, of Dresden, Germany, Mrs. Henry (Johanna) Mohrmen, Mrs. August (Annie) Bruns and Mrs Amelia Nehring, all of New York city, five grandchildren and five grandchildren. She was preceded by her husband, two sons and two daughters.
