A Mysterious Death

Maquoketa, Jan. 2 - The jury which held an inquest over the body of Wm. O’Donnell, who was found dead near Hurstville in the road near midnight, has returned a verdict of death by an unknown reason. There was no marks on the body except on the temple, where a slight blow was inflicted. Blood was issuing from this wound and also from the ears of the dead man. O’Donnell was a man of 30 years and leaves a wife and six children. He was hauling a load of lumber when he met his death. When his body was found his team had gone on home.
