Henry R. Ostert

Maquoketa, Ia. – Services for Henry R. Ostert, 50, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the First Lutheran Church here. The Rev. Harold Kumpf will officiate and burial will be in Hickory Grove Cemetery.

Mr. Ostert died Wednesday in the Jackson County Public Hospital here. He was born October 13, 1906, at Andrew, son of William and Hannah Moeller Ostert. He married Maude Ralston 28 years ago.

Surviving are his wife; three sons, Dwayne of Maquoketa, Darrell and Charles of Andrew and Mrs. Phyllis Brinker of Maquoketa; his mother; a brother, Louis of Dubuque; two sister, Mrs. Mary Tarvistad of Cedar Rapids and Mrs. Carrie Caroway of Monmouth, and two grandchildren.

Friends may call at the Carson Funeral Home until 11 a.m. Saturday when the body will be taken to the church.
