Michael P. McNamara, 52, of Julien Care Facility, died Saturday, July 31, 1999, at Mercy Medical Center-Dubuque.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Nativity Catholic Church, Dubuque, with burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Key West, Iowa. Friends may call after 9:30 a.m. Monday at the church. The Hoffmann-Schneider Funeral Home, 1640 Main St., is in charge of arrangements.

He was born on Nov. 20, 1946, in Dubuque, son of Earl J. and Jane (Birkett) McNamara.

He attended Dubuque schools of special education. He was a member of Nativity Parish all of his life.

Surviving are two sisters, Sister Patricia McNamara, BVM, of Anamosa, Iowa, and Susan Rigney, of St. Paul, Minn.; and his nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Roger J. and E. Joseph McNamara.

Memorials may be given to Nativity Parish.
