GRACE- -On Sunday evening, Feb. 28th, at 10 p.m., at the residence of his father, in Butler Township, Jackson County. Iowa, Thomas Grace, aged 20 years and 4 months.

His funeral will take place today at 12, from his father's residence. It is but one year since Thomas Grace, full of life and vigor, completed his apprenticeship as a carriage smith with Thomas Connolly, of this city. He was a young man of prepossessing appearance, generous nature and marked ability as a mechanic. He was well liked by all who knew him, principally by his brother mechanics. Mr. Connolly has cause to regret the loss of a fine workman, but it is the first death that has occurred amongst his workmen since he commenced business eleven years ago. Mr. Connolly’s establishment is to be closed today in consequence of the death.
