Maquoketa, Ia. – Services for Isaac Edgar Eastman, 72, were at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Carson-Balster Funeral Home here with the Rev. M. M. Powers officiating. Burial was in Esgate Cemetery.
The son of Charles and Charity (Larkin) Eastman was born in Jackson County March 13, 1872. On Dec. 5, 1896, he married Mae Henton. For some years he operated a grocery in Fulton and was also a farmer.
He is survived by his widow, one daughter, Mrs. Hazel Tenner, of Chicago; two brothers, Frank of Greenwich, Ohio, and Orville, of Clinton; three sisters, Mrs. Janie Smith, of Cedar Rapids, Mrs. Pearl Merritt, of Clinton, and Mrs. Stella Flynn, of Maquoketa; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
