MARY ALICE O'DONNELL CALLED BY DEATH

Miss Mary Alice O'Donnell, a life long resident of the Otter Creek neighborhood, died on Friday, August 7, 1925. Miss O'Donnell was the only daughter of the late Thomas and Ann O'Donnell and was born in Otter Creek township, Jackson county, Iowa, June 6, 1860, having reached the age of 65 years, 2 months and 1 day at her death. She had always lived on the home farm until a month before her death, when she became critically ill and went to the home of her sister-in-law, Mrs. Mary O'Donnell.

Miss O'Donnell is survived by her sister-in-law, Mrs. Mary O'Donnell, her niece, Miss Mayme O'Donnell and a nephew, Will O'Donnell, all of Farmers Creek township. Two brothers, Thomas and William preceded her in death.

The funeral was held on Monday morning from the home to St. Lawrence church where Requiem High Mass was celebrated by Rev. Father Loughnane, after which the remains were laid in the adjoining cemetery. The casket bearers were Jerry Anglin, John Sullivan, Peter Casel, J. F. Heeney, Edward Cowan and N. B. Touissant.
