Bellevue, Ia.- Final rites for Henry Clay Pemberton, 52, will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday from the Dye Funeral Home here to the Lutheran Church at 2 p.m. The Rev. Arnold Jahr will officiate and burial will be in the Bellevue Lutheran Cemetery. Pemberton died Saturday at the University Hospital Iowa City.

He was born May 24, 1896 and came to Bellevue in 1925. He married the former Evelyn Beck June 18, 1924. He worked for many years as a marine engineer on Mississippi river boats.

Surviving are his wife, of Bellevue; two sons, Richard J. and Henry C. Jr., both of Bellevue; three brothers, John H. and W. E., both of New Orleans, La., and Ben F. of Boston, Mass., and a sister, Mrs. C. H. Metzger, of Chicago.
