Bernard, Ia., Dec. 28. - Special- The community was shocked Sunday to learn of the death of Mrs. Patrick Donovan which occurred early Sunday morning at her home in Cascade.

Mrs. Donovan was a former resident of Garryowen parish being highly respected and beloved by all who knew here.

She leaves to mourn her loss the following sons and daughters: Mrs. Jno. Burke, Mrs. Jos. Burke, Mrs. Thos. Phillips of Dubuque, Elizabeth of Cascade and Willie of Coggan, Ia.
