FRANK T. DEMPEWOLF

Bellevue, Ia. - Special: Staff Sergeant Frank T. Dempewolf, 23, died Aug. 18, at Honolulu, Hawaii, according to word received by the young Marine's wife at Bellwood, Ill. The message from the wife stated to the parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Dempewolf, that he died from injuries received in an airplane accident. His brother was present at the time of his death.

The brother is Eugene Dempewolf, pharmacist mate first class, who has been stationed within 50 miles of his brother for sometime.

Sergt. Dempewolf was born Jan. 18, 1920, at Mendota, Ill. and graduated from St. Joseph's High School here. He enlisted in the Marines in September 194. he married Miss Roberta Stiig of Bellwood, Ill., who with his parents and nine brothers and sisters survive.
