Springbrook, IowaServices for Kermit P. Deppe, 55, of Springbrook will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Springbrook.
Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mr. Deppe owned the Chatterbox in Springbrook for 11 years. He formerly worked at Midwest Pipe Coating for 17 years.
He was born on July 4, 1934, in Bellevue, son of Louis and Irene (Keilhold) Deppe. He died Sunday night, Nov. 12, 1989 at the Jackson County Public Hospital, Maquoketa, after a long illness.
He married Gladys Michels on Feb. 27, 1954, at Preston; she survives.
He was a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Springbrook, Volunteer Fire Department and the Bellevue Golf Club.
Also surviving are five sons, Larry Deppe of Merrillville, Ind., Terry and Cary "Joe" Deppe, both of Springbrook, Gary "Mike" Deppe of Roswell, Ga., and Perry "Pete" Deppe of Marietta, Ga.; six daughters, Pam Deppe of Springbrook, Mrs. Mitch (Patty) Current of Lithonia, Ga., Peggy Gulab of Hammond, Ind., and Mrs. Randy (Penny) Hoffmann, Mrs. Jess (Paula) Herrig and Mrs. Jeff (Paulette) Wagner, all of Bellevue; 10 grandchildren; his parents, Mr.and Mrs. Louis Deppe of Bellevue; three sisters, Mrs. Dave (Karen) Gonner and Mrs. Harvey (Diane) Seiler, Jr., both of Bellevue, and Mrs. Jim (Alvera) Schmidt of Maquoketa, and two brothers Kenny Deppe of Preston and Gene Deppe of Bellevue.
A Kermit P. Deppe Memorial Fund has been established.
