Wilbur Sutton-
Funeral services were held for the late Wilbur Sutton Saturday morning at 9:45 at Buchner's chapel and at 10:00 at the Methodist Episcopal church with the Rev. F. C. Worchester officiating.
Wilbur Sutton passed away at a Davenport sanitarium Wednesday afternoon after a lingering illness of many weeks. He was born January 24, 1902 near Fulton, Iowa, and there spent his youth. Eleven years ago the family moved to Maquoketa where the young man had since made his home. He was graduated from the Maquoketa High Scxhool in 1924. For eight years he was a capable employee of H. H. Penrose & Son in the vulcanizing work until it was necessary for his to abandon indoor work a year ago because of his poor health. He is survived by his wife the former Myrtle Prussia, to whom he was married in March, 1926 and his mother, Mrs. Esther Sutton and sister, Florence.
Burial was made in the Sutton Cemetery in Fulton, where the body will rest next to the father, who preceded him in death a year ago.
