Death relieved Peter C. Manders of his sufferings Saturday evening, January 3rd, after several months illness. He was the son of the late J. P. and Catherine Manders and was born in St. Donatus November 26, 1868. He resided with his parents until after their deaths then moved to the home of his sister, Mrs. J. P. Streff and remained with her until his death. He is survived by three brothers, Mat of Oelrichs, South Dakota, Henry of Dubuque, John of St. Paul and six sisters, Mesdames N. B. Nemmers, J. P. Theisen and J. P. Streff of LaMotte, Mesdames Mike Theisen and John Kleiber of St. Paul and Mrs. August Fischer of Bernard. The funeral will be held here Wednesday morning at 9 0'clock with Rev. H. L. Loosbrock will read the mass of requiem and burial will take place at St. Donatus. The casket bearers will be the following nephews: John Fischer, N. J. Nemmers, John and Henry Streff, Raymond Theisen and Edmund Manders.
