GUS EHRHARDT CLAIMED BY DEATH

August Ehrhardt, 70 years old, died yesterday at the home of his brother, Emil Ehrhardt, after an illness of about six months. He was a patient at the Moulton hospital for several weeks. Mr. Ehrhardt was never married and made his home with his brother for many years.

August Ehrhardt was the son of Frederick and Minnie Ehrhardt and was born September 26, 1860, at Dubuque. He came to Bellevue when a child and spent his life in this community. He was a cigar maker by trade and at different times was the manager of billiard parlors here. Mr. Ehrhardt had a large number of friends in this community and was known for his honesty and integrity. One brother, Emil, survives of his immediate family.

Funeral services will be conducted tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Ehrhardt home on Second Street by Rev. S. M. Ide, pastor of St. John's Lutheran church. Burial will be made in the Lutheran cemetery. Casketbearers will be John Kamp, Ben Dagitz, Leo Lampe, Mike Hipschen, George Schaub and Con Dunn.
