Services for Edith M. Kurt, 93, 302 N. 7th St. Bellevue, will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Bellevue.

Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 5 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at Kingery-Gallagher Funeral Home, Bellevue, where there will be a scripture service at 7:30 p.m.

Mrs. Kurt was a homemaker. She and her husband farmed seven miles west of Bellevue.

She was born on June 26, 1899, in Bellevue, daughter of August and Rose (Cole) Dirksen. She died Wednesday, March 24, 1993, at the Mill Valley Care Center, Bellevue.

She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church and its rosary society.

Surviving are four sons, Richard, of Tokyo, Japan, Jim, of Lansing, Mich., John, of DeWitt, and Eugene, of Bellevue; three daughters, Mrs. John (Lois) Kramer, of Bellevue, Mrs. Elmer (Dorothy) Scheckel, of Springbrook, and Ruth Byrne, of Northbrook, Ill.; 25 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; and a sister, Pearle Deppe, of Bellevue.

She also was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Lorraine Kurt, in 1928; and one grandson.
