RITES HELD FOR H. D. SKRIVSETH

Services were held Monday at 2 p.m. from Carson and Balster Funeral Home for H. D. Skrivseth, 67, local photographer, who died at his home Friday morning at 1:30. Rev. H. D. Green officiated with interment in Mt. Hope cemetery.

Henning D. Skrivseth was born in Buxton, North Dakota, April 26, 1881. He was the son of Jacob Skrivseth and Bertha Christiansen. On March 18, 1914, he married Nell Best at Minot, North Dakota. Twenty-one years ago they came to Maquoketa where he followed his trade as a photographer.

Mr. Skrivseth is survived by his widow, three children, Margaret Skrivseth of Clinton, H. D. "Bud" Skrivseth of Maquoketa and Mrs. Lois Werden of Baldwin, one brother, Jay Skrivseth of Willison, North Dakota, one sister, Mrs. Margaret Anderson of Fargo, North Dakota, his mother, Mrs. J. L. Skrivseth of Willison, North Dakota, and four grandchildren.
