Maquoketa Excelsior, February 16, 1889

The sad news reached this city last Thursday of the death of Mrs. Hattie Hall, wife of Henry J. Hall, and sister of Hon. D. A. Wynkoop. She died at Marion, Iowa, at the residence of her son-in-law, Mr. Thomas, of cancer in the breast, of which she suffered untold agony for a long time. Her remains were brought to this city for burial last Thursday and were followed by a large concourse of friends to her last resting place at the Presbyterian cemetery, Rev. Breckenridge officiating. The deceased was 48 years of age. -Bellevue Herald.
