Last Tuesday morning, December 19, death entered the home of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Engelken and removed the spirit of their daughter, Rebecca, who was born at Andrew, August 16, 1857. Up to seven years ago she had been an energetic, hard working girl, but at that time she suffered a stroke of palsy, which left her in a helpless and dependent condition, so much so that she was not even able to feed herself. A few days previous to her death, she contracted the grip, which her poor wasted body was unable to withstand and God released her.
