Mrs. Jennie O'Brien passed away this (Tuesday) morning at 3 o'clock at her home after a long illness, at the age of about 80 years. Mrs. O'Brien has been a resident of Maquoketa for many years. She is survived by her son-in-law, Allie Harmon of Colorado. Her daughter passed away about two years ago. Funeral services will be held at the home, corner of South Olive and Maple Streets Wednesday afternoon at 2:30. Rev. J. J. Kidder will officiate. The remains will be laid to rest by the side of her husband in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
