Mrs. Bert Neville died in Bellevue Wednesday of last week from ptomaine poisoning. On Tuesday she had eaten part of a can of sardines that had been allowed to stand in the original can and was taken violently ill. Although the best medical skill in the town was summoned the poison had so permeated the system it was impossible to counteract it. She was the wife of Bert Novelle, son of Hiram Neville, of Cascade, and leaves, besides her husband, three children, all girls—the oldest being four years of age The funeral was held Friday morning at the Congregational church, Bellevue. Hiram Neville and daughter, Miss Pearl, attended the funeral.
