Elizabeth Reddin, one of this vicinity's pioneer residents, passed away Saturday evening in the home of her niece, Mrs. John Deacon, at Garry Owen. Miss Reddin had been i11 for the past eight months and her demise, mourned by numerous close friends and relatives, was not unexpected. She was a fine woman, had lived a useful life, was highly respected and the last member of a family of thirteen children. Elizabeth Reddin, the daughter of Michael and Mary Joyce Reddin, was born September 3rd, 1841, at Garry Owen and had almost attained her 93rd birthday at her death. She never married and lived in the Cascade, Bernard, Garry Owen territory during her entire life. Funeral services for the deceased were held in St. Patrick's church, Garry Owen, Monday morning at nine o'clock and interment was made in the adjoining cemetery. The pall bearers were Dan Noonan, Tom Moore, Robt. Kenne, Charles Devlin, P. J. Conlan and Dennis McDonnell.
