Mrs. Kate Ganey, sister of Miss Nancy Farrell, of this city, died in Mercy hospital in Dubuque last Monday noon. She had been ill for more than a
year, and for the past month was in the hospital. She was 50 years old, and lived most of her life in Dubuque. Besides her sister in this city she is survived by another sister, Mrs. M.
McLaughlin of Dubuque. The funeral was held Wednesday at the Cathedral, and the remains were taken to Garry Owen for burial.
