DEATH OF FRANK CURRAN
Frank Curran, an old and respected citizen of Garry Owen, died at the home of his sister, Mrs. John Reddin, at 11 o'clock Tuesday night, August
28th. Mr. Curran had been ill for some years and the immediate cause of his death, was heart trouble.
Deceased was a son of Timothy Curran and Johanna Fitzgerald and was born in Washington township, Jones County, Iowa, October 10, 1858. With the exception of the past six years, during which time he lived with his mother's family, he had resided on the old homestead in Washington township. He never married and is survived by his brother, John Curran, of St. Paul, Minn., and sisters, Mrs. David Stanton and Mrs. John Reddin,of Garryowen. Mr. Curran was a friendly and courteous man and was respected and honored by his neighbors. He was a member of the Catholic church and passed to his reward fortified by the sacraments of his religion. The funeral services will be held at St. Patrick's church, Garry Owen,
Friday morning at 9 o'clock, Rev. Mulcahy, pastor, officiating.
