DIED-
PATTERSON-At the home of his daughters, 2021 Miami St., Omaha, Neb., Sep. 13, 1888, Mr. Walter Patterson, aged 78 years.
Mr. Patterson was born in Cortland County, New York in 1810. He came to Iowa in 1855 and settled on a farm in Jackson County. He remained in Jackson County for thirty-three years. Death removed a devoted wife, Sophia, from him in 1876 and he has lived with his son, Z. S. Patterson at Bridgeport. Last Spring he went to live in Omaha with his daughters, Mrs. A. S. Russell, Mrs. A. M. Reynolds and Mrs. E. A. Haner. His physician said his death was from general breaking down of the system and old age combined. He was a kind and indulgent father and was greatly beloved by his children. His many friends in Maquoketa township will regret to hear of his death.
Interment was in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Omaha, Nebraska.
