Galen E. Moore, 50, Maquoketa, died Friday at Jackson County Public Hospital.

Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Maquoketa Methodist Church. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.

Visitation is 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Carson Funeral Home.

Mr. Moore owned and operated a trucking service for Sanitary Milk Co. He also owned and operated Bill's Tap.

He was born in Scott's Grove, Iowa. He married Shirley Holmes in 1956 in Fulton, Ill.

Survivors include his wife, daughters, Mrs. John (Gayla) Manderscheid, Delmar; Sheryl Moore, Clinton; Mrs. Gary (Debra) Carson, Maquoketa, and Mrs. Dave (Denise) Runge, DeWitt; sons, Brian and Eric, both at home, and Galen A., McCausland; six grandchildren, his mother, Mrs. Millie Moore, Maquoketa; sisters, Mrs. Stewart (Margaret) Wosoba, Largo, Fla., and Mrs Doug (Shirley) Winegar, Maquoketa, and brothers, Dale, DeWitt and Tom Jr., Maquoketa.
