Obituary of LeRoy G. PRINDLE
“Leroy Prindle
Funeral services for LeRoy J. Prindle, 53 of Manchester and formerly of Maquoketa, who died Monday morning at the Veteran's Hospital in Iowa City, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday from the Carson Funeral Home. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Tuesday at Carsons.
Mr. Prindle, a laborer, was born August 20, 1917 in Maquoketa, the son of George and Lena Prindle Prindle. He married Edna Fischer on February 2, 1943 in Keoka, Missouri.
Mr. Prindle is survived by his wife; three daughters, Mrs. Mary Meader, Manchester, Mrs. Barbara Robertson of Monticello and Judy at home; one son, LeRoy Jr. at home; one brother, Wilbur of Maquoketa; three sisters, Mrs. Alice Primasing, Mrs. Nellie Wilgus and Mrs. Myrtle Desave, all of Maquoketa; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents."
