The Maquoketa Excelsior, Maquoketa, Jackson, IA Mar. 8, 1907
"DIED--Thomas Prindle was born in Plattville, N.Y., June 29, 1846; died at Will Prindle's in South Fork township March 2, from pneumonia, age 60 years 8 months. He was married to Mrs. Mercy Goodwin in 1866; had three children by first marriage, two of whom survive him, Mrs. Dora Mull of Cressona, Pa, and Will Prindle of Maquoketa. His second marriage was to Miss Mary Graham of Wisconsin, in 1880. There were seven children by this marriage, Clarence of Maquoketa, Ruth, Murray, Elmer and Esther of Loyal, Wis., Walter of Nashua, Iowa. His third marriage was to Esther Streets of Nashville, Ia., in 1902. About three weeks ago he came from Nashua to attend his brother's funeral; took to his bed twelve days ago and succumbed to the dread disease, notwithstanding all was done that science and care could do. Funeral services were held at Buckhorn church on Sunday, March 3, at 3:30 p.m., after which the remains were laid to rest in Buckhorn cemetery, Rev. G. C. Chandler officiating."
