Mrs. Mary Hinke Efferding Dies At Bellevue

BELLEVUE-(Special)

Mrs. C. L. Efferding, age 56, passed away at her home on South Front Street, Monday morning at 4:56 o'clock, after a long illness. Mary Hinke was born in Bellevue township, June 19, 1877, and was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Hinke. She was united in marriage with C. L. Efferding, October 4, 1899 and they lived on a farm north of Bellevue until about five years ago when they bought a home and moved to Bellevue.

Besides her husband she is survived by two sons, Stanley and Alvin J. of Bellevue; also two grandchildren and three sisters, Mrs. John Teitjen, Mrs. Conrad Felderman of Bellevue and Mrs. William Efferding of Maquoketa; one brther, J. D. Hinke of Bellevue. Funeral service will be held Wednesday afternoon from the late home at 1:30 o'clock and at St. John's Lutheran Church at 2:00 o'clock, Rev. S. H. Sandrock officiating. Burial will be made in the Lutheran Cemetery.
