Donald Meier
(March 24, 1960 - July 11, 2009)

Donald "Donny" Meier, 49 of Bellevue, died suddenly Saturday, July 11, 2009 in rural Bellevue.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, July 15 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church; Bellevue officiated by Father Stephen Meyer. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 14 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Friends may also call again Wednesday Mourning from 9:30 until the start of Mass at the church.

Donald was born on March 24, 1960 in Bellevue, son of Robert and Marilyn (Schurbon) Meier. He was employed with Aggregate Material Company as a tow and dredge operator. He also kept busy farming. He enjoyed Truck Pulls, Antique Tractors and Nascar. He was a Mark Martin Fan. Donny was a hardworking and thoughtful man who will truly be missed by all.

Surviving are his mother, Marilyn Meier, of Bellevue; one brother, Dale (Barb Ament) Meier, of Bellevue; four nieces, Hope, Kaybe, Kelly, and Samantha; and a nephew, Bob

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, father, and brother, David Meier.

The Family would like to thank the Bellevue Ambulance Service and the Bellevue Police Department, especially Dennis "Bud" Schroeder for their quick response.
