Wayne L. Budde

Wayne L. Budde, 85, of Bellevue, died Friday, October 29, 2010 at his home in Bellevue.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, November 1, at 11:00 a.m. in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Bellevue. Burial will be in the Parish Cemetery. Visitation for Wayne will be held from 3:00 - 7:00 p.m. Sunday evening at Hachmann Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Bellevue and again Monday morning after 9:00 until procession to the church.

Wayne was born March 5, 1925 in Bellevue, Iowa, the son of John and Mae (Hoff) Budde. He married Verna Wohlers on February 11, 1961 in Bellevue.

Wayne farmed his whole life and truly enjoyed it. He also enjoyed camping and traveling with his wife, together they spent a number of winters in Texas and Arizona. He also thoroughly enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

Those left to honor his memory include his wife of 49 years, Verna; son, Randy (Chris) Budde, of Delmar; daughter, Jean (Bob) Winter, of Clinton; son in-law, Roy Webster; daughter in-law, Kathy Budde Rowan; 12 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; a sister, Delores Hingtgen, of Bellevue; and four sisters in-law.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Marty Budde; daughter, Joan Webster; and four brothers, Orville, Leroy, Richard, and Robert.
