We were sorry to hear of the death of Mrs. Allen Parmelee of Maquoketa. Mrs. Parmelee spent most of her married life in Cottonville and her death occasions her many friends here deep sorrow. We knew her to be a genial, kind and courteous lady. She has left behind her an honorable name. The community unites in offering to the bereaved family kind words of comfort and sympathy.
