Gladys M. Croce, 79, died Wednesday, Jan. 14, 1998, in Jackson County Public Hospital after a long illness. Services: 11 a.m. Saturday, Carson & Son Funeral Home, Maquoketa, where friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today. Burial: Sutton Cemetery, rural Maquoketa.
Survivors include her husband, Leo; two sons, William of Maquoketa and Leo "Butch" of Toronto, Iowa; five daughters, Mona Cleary of Lost Nation, Donna Camp of Lakewood, Colo., Maxine Flock and Janice Arensdorf, both of Maquoketa, and Wendy Hainstock of Delmar; two brothers, Jerry Bickford of Tucson, Ariz., and James Bickford of Maquoketa; and two sisters, Nelda Bailey of Tucson and Ann Puetz of Baldwin.
