Reprinted in the Jackson Sentinel, March 21, 1889John Schenk, Jr., son of John Schenk, died at his home at Gordon’ Ferry on Wednesday of pneumonia. The funeral took place from the homestead last Friday. The young man was 26 years of age and had been in ill health for some time.
