DIED

LOCKWOOD-Martin Lockwood was born in New York in 1830 and died Tuesday morning June 1st at the Cottage Hospital of the infirmities of old age. He came to Iowa in 1853. He was a man of domestic nature, locating on the rich prairies south of Maquoketa and found no trouble in acquiring a competence. He is survived by one daughter, Agnes. Funeral services will be held this attention at one o’clock from the home.
