MAQUOKETA, Iowa -- Birdsall A. "Bird" Moore, 74, of Maquoketa, died Tuesday, Jan. 6, 1987, at home.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Carson Funeral Home, with burial in Sacred Heart Cemetery, both in Maquoketa. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, where the wake service will be said at 7:30 p.m.

Mr. Moore was a self-employed truck driver.

Surviving are his wife, the former Norma A. Rasmussen; two sons, John "Jake" of Maquoketa and David of Madison, Wis.; 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Louis, and sister, Mrs. Fern Graham, both of Oakville.
