DIED

BLACK-Emma D. Haven, was born July 30, 1867, Ft. Dodge, Webster County, Iowa. At the age of 14 years she moved with her parents to Maquoketa where on June 30th, 1892, she was united in marriage to W. E. Black. She had been suffering for some little time with head and heart trouble, but her death, which occurred Monday, February 8th, was a great shock to her many friends as her ailment was not deemed serious. She leaves in great sorrow, a mother, husband and little daughter, Helene. She was a lady of sunny disposition and had a large circle of friends. Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at two o’clock at the M. E. Church.
